A thoughtfully designed circuit can be a thing of beauty and elegance. Sometimes, we even enclose them in a transparent case to showcase the workmanship.
Maybe you use a custom front panel or case with silk screened labels, a 3D printed custom enclosure, an off the shelf project box with transfer lettering, or maybe even some gutted household item that fits nicely into your decor. Or maybe you don't much care how the end result looks, as long as it does what it was designed for.
