Are electronics Flea Markets a thing of the past?

There used to be a half dozen or more regularly occurring electronics Flea Markets/Swap Meets on any given weekend in So Cal, and many more across the country. All manner of computer parts, radio gear, bench equipment, cables, power supplies, wire, components, equipment carcasses, and other assorted useful junk was sold, traded, or given away to a good home. It seems that Craig’s List, eBay and others have taken it all online and many local Flea Markets have withered away and become part of electronics hobbyist history.

Are there any regular Flea Markets still going on in your area?
What are some of the gems that you’ve picked up at a local Flea Market?
Has something been lost or is the experience now better finding things online?
