Just by reading the comments that the Nuts & Volts community share, it's easy to see the wealth of knowledge that has accrued over lifetimes of experience. In fact, many have grown up tinkering with tubes, building radios, and remember a time before computers, cell phones, and even PCBs. Many have helped engineer some of the great technology achievements of the last century, such as landing on the moon.
The hobby may have changed as electronics has evolved, but experimentation and knowledge has always been at the core. There's no doubt that evolution will continue and the hobby will continue to change.
