What is the Preferred Subscriber Network?

The Preferred Subscriber Network is our auto-renewal program. We keep your credit card info on file and automatically renew your subscription before it expires. We’ll notify you via email about 30 days prior to your expiration date that your credit card will be charged for a one year renewal term. We’ll continue to do so until you tell us to stop.

Why should I join?

As a member, you’ll have unlimited access to the online digital library of all archived volumes of Nuts & Volts, for as long as your subscription is active and you are a member in good standing. Plus, you’ll enjoy the convenience of uninterrupted service.

We save money (and trees) by not having to send a half dozen or more renewal notices, and in return, you can access over a decade's worth of Nuts & Volts AND help the Earth. What could be better!

A normal subscription entitles you to digital access of the issues included in your subscription term. The Preferred Subscriber Network gives you access to every issue in the archives. You can read them online in our digital edition, in our mobile apps, or download as PDFs for offline reading anywhere your computer can go. Included are active links to advertiser's websites and other content (when an active internet connection is present).

To Join:
Simply subscribe to Nuts & Volts using a credit or debit card as payment and check the Preferred Subscriber Network box on the form underneath the subscription term. That's it, you're done!

Current Subscribers
Login to your subscriber account and renew your subscription using a credit or debit card. Check the Preferred Subscriber Network box on the form. The End!

If you have recently renewed within the last 6 months and don't wish to extend your subscription at this time, call our customer service line at the numbers below between 5am and 5pm PST to request an upgrade.

Things you should know:

  • This program requires that you keep a credit or debit card on file with a valid expiration date.
  • If your card can not be charged, for any reason, we will renew your subscription and mail you a bill.
  • We also need a valid email address on file to notify you of the upcoming charge to your credit card before renewal. If we don't have your email, you will not receive advance notification of the charge.
  • Access to digital archives MAY not be immediate, as your order or account update may take time, (up to 24hrs), to propagate through our system.
